Honey-Sriracha Chicken Wings

Say hello to the perfect pairing of sweet and spicy…Honey-Sriracha Chicken Wings! There’s nothing better than crispy, sweet, and spicy wings any day of the year.

I used to be afraid of making chicken wings. Not actually scared, but I just thought I could never replicate what I had in the restaurant or what came in the frozen bag section at the grocery store (shame…I know, but I’ve learned).

Prepping the Chicken

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. To start making these Honey-Sriracha Chicken Wings, gather your chicken. You can buy precut chicken wings which I like to purchase in packs from Costco. But if you don’t have a Costco membership, its super easy to cut chicken wings. Check out my post on How to Cut Chicken Wings.

Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel and place into a medium sized bowl. Season all over with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. If you have our Anderson All-Purpose seasoning, go ahead and use that too! Here is a link to that recipe. No need to season too heavy, just season enough where each wing is lightly coated.

Honey-Sriracha Chicken Wings Prebaked and Seasoned

Get a baking sheet and line it with aluminum foil for an easier cleanup. Place a wire rack (or a cookie cooling rack if you don’t have a wire rack) on the baking sheet. Spray the wire rack with cooking spray so the chicken wings wont majorly stick after cooking. Lay the chicken wings on the rack, skin side up. Bake for 40 minutes. If you have a convection oven, you can probably bake for 30-35 minutes, just keep an eye on them.

For the Sauce

Now here is the yummy part, the Honey-Sriracha sauce! Heat the butter in small saucepan over medium heat. When the butter is melted, add the honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, and garlic. Mix this with a whisk and let it come to a slow boil. Stir again, then remove from heat and set aside.

When chicken wings are done baking, remove them from the baking sheet and place into a bowl. Take the sauce and pour over the wings, then toss in the bowl to coat. That’s it! You’ve officially made incredible tasting and crispy Honey-Sriracha Chicken Wings!
