Ever wonder how to replicate that ridiculously good White Queso (Mexican Cheese Dip) you get at the Mexican restaurant? I sure have. So i decided to figure out how to make it! And…WOW!!! This dip is seriously insane and tastes just like, if not better, than the dip you get at your local restaurant.
ITS SO EASY TO MAKE TOO!
All you need is three ingredients: 1 pound of white American cheese, 1 cup of half and half, and 1/2 cup of salsa verde. I use the Herdez brand, but any brand you like the taste of will do.
You can make this in a small crock pot or in a saucepan on the stove. For the crock pot, simply add and combine all of ingredients in the pot, put the lid on, turn on high, and let cook for about one hour! Be sure to stir this occasionally. THATS IT! Its seriously too easy.
If you want to eat this in sooner than one hour (and after you taste it for the first time you may get antsy and want to speed up the process next time), just put all the ingredients into a medium sized sauce pan and turn the heat to medium-low. For cooking on the stove, you will need to stir often, to ensure it doesn’t boil and combines well. After about twenty minutes of cooking on the stove, it’ll be ready to serve!
This White Queso (Mexican Cheese Dip) recipe is such a winner. Impress everyone you know with this incredible recipe…and enjoy for yourself! Pair this with our Chicken Fajita Quesadillas recipe for a Mexican foodie night!
